WEBINAR RECORDING: What Sustainability Professionals need to know about doing Business with Business

Do you want to learn how to speak the language of business leaders when developing your networks and contracting around sustainability initiatives?  Are you adept at the softer skills you need to master in order to be an effective sustainability professional?  Are you aware of how and why sustainability is becoming mandatory for business leaders (for their reasons, not yours)?

Why don’t business leaders “get it”?  If you get blank stares, or worse, when you talk about sustainability or systems thinking with potential clients, it’s likely the strategy you are using does not resonate with them, for a number of reasons.  In this webinar you’ll understand these barriers and how to overcome them.  Combined with this are a number of skills you’ll need to model, and a ready set of reasons for and evidence of how sustainability concerns are squarely in the interests of industry.

Learning outcomes:
•    A simple, real-world based model of systems thinking to communicate to business leaders
•    Best practices in positioning sustainability as a no-brainer
•    Compelling language to use when talking about implementing sustainability
•    Familiarity with the market forces that are pushing industry toward more sustainable practaices
•    Awareness of important softer skills, and which are developmental areas for you

In this ISSP live webinar, The Thinking Executive's Guide to Sustainability, What Sustainability Professionals need to know about doing business with Business, educator, author, ISSP member and 2013 ISSP Certificate, Dr. Kerul Kassel looks at your progression – from positioning sustainability through effective use of compelling language to familiarity with market forces – to achievable success.
