WEBINAR: Broaden your Toolbox - The Sustainable Food Trade Association’s 11-point sustainability reporting framework

Recorded live on Thursday, July 27th, 2017

Reporting frameworks (i.e. CDP, GRI) are key tools the sustainability professional can use to help define and measure a company’s sustainability performance. However, these models may not always feel like the perfect “fit” for your company or client, since there are as many different ways to look at and measure sustainability as there are business models.

Join us to Deepen Your Toolbox and learn about a sustainability reporting framework developed by the Sustainable Food Trade Association and its members. Inspired by the Natural Step framework, SFTA’s reporting format takes a comprehensive systems-based approach, so many, if not most, of these metrics can apply across a spectrum of industries.

Led by Lisa Spicka, SFTA Associate Director, and joined by Community Food Co-op, this training will provide an overview of this 11-point framework, which creates a unique perspective how to identify, quantify, and hence communicate the sustainability efforts and successes already being made at your company. The best practices encouraged by this framework will be brought to life through examples of how companies are improving efforts in key metric areas. We look forward to having you there and expanding your perspective on systems-based sustainability programs!
