You are cordially invited to our next ISSP-NYC Sustainability in Focus film screening and networking reception. We are delighted to present SEED: The Untold Story.  SEED reveals the David-and-Goliath story of passionate seed keepers battling multinational chemical seed companies to protect valuable seeds from becoming extinct.

Few things on Earth are as miraculous and vital as seeds.  Through beautiful cinematography, SEED: The Untold Story recounts how seed keepers are ensuring our 12,000 year-old food legacy. In the last century, 94% of our seed varieties have disappeared. With biotech chemical companies controlling the majority of our seeds, committed farmers, scientists, lawyers, and indigenous seed keepers are fighting a courageous battle to defend the future of our food. These reluctant heroes rekindle a lost connection to our most treasured agricultural resource and revive our cultural connection to seedsSEED features Vandana Shiva, Dr. Jane Goodall, Andrew Kimbrell, Winona Laduke and Raj Patel.

Following an expert panel discussion and Q&A, the evening closes with a festive networking reception.
