Join ISSP’s Greater St. Louis chapter on June 26nd from 5:15pm - 6:30pm CT for a presentation and discussion on Regional Recycling: Standardizing the Message and Keeping Up With Industry Changes.
The June ISSP Sustainability Drivers session is teaming up with the Materials & Recycling OneSTL Working Group to discuss their funded project of creating a regional recycling message. During this session, bring your recycling questions and current recycling knowledge to help us begin drafting a simple, regional recycling message that eliminates confusion and encourages correct behaviors. This project is impactful to the Sustainability Professional as we can leverage our employee’s “at-home behaviors” to encourage positive “at-work behaviors” and contribute to a culture of being waste-aware; with the myriad of positive benefits that could result.
The Working Group’s project is concentrating on the connection between public health and waste along with how recycling will directly affect our communities. This session is not a deep dive on an industry state of affairs, but we will have a short update on China’s National Sword related information and its impact on our region.
Presenters: Members of the Materials & Recycling OneSTL Working Group
Join us for a discussion of this important topic to learn, engage and lead on sustainability and climate issues in the Greater St Louis region. Let's not be dependent on the specialists; come join us in the driver's seat for making real change!
Registration is not required for this event. Questions can be sent to email@example.com.
