The Circular Economy is a complete rethink of our whole system of modes of production and interaction with consumers. Not surprisingly, businesses will play a large role. Producers need not only consider the performance and use of their products, but also the re-use and/or recycling of all materials. A circular economy is a logical step in the evolution of the linear economy that has been a dominant force since the industrial revolution, and The Six Steps is a process to guide a company through this evolution.

WEBINAR: The Six Steps Towards a Circular Business

Thursday, July 26th, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. PT / 2:00 p.m. ET. All registrants will receive a recording of the live webinar.

Join us as we sit down with Adrienna Zsakay to discuss why the transition to Circular systems is not a philanthropic scheme, nor a CSR programme but a genuine opportunity to rethink a company's business model and manage natural, biological and man-made resources, which has the possibility to bring about significant cost savings. We will also learn how The Six Steps towards a Circular Business incorporate the practical aspects of transitioning from a linear to a circular business model covering all the critical phases, including knowledge, organizational readiness, product, transition, business model, and expectations.

PRESENTER:

Originally from Australia, Ms. Adrienna Zsakay first visited Asia when she was 18 for a holiday to Bali. That four-week trip changed her life forever, resulting in residences in India, Sri Lanka, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia as well as travel to other parts of the region. Over the last 40 years, Adrienna has witnessed tremendous development and change.

She first became interested in the Circular Economy while living in Thailand and took up waste management as a hobby. Over time this expanded to include Circular Economic principles including Circular Business and Circular Design. Adrienna has a BA in Asian Studies & Politics from the University of Western Australia and has studied International and Asian food law from Michigan State University. She is the Executive Director for circular Economy Asia.
