In a collaboration with several programs at Washington University in St Louis, the April Sustainability Lab will start into the diverse and pressing requirements around climate change. This reality has placed on all of us a need to facilitate a sweeping and holistic shift towards behaviors and values that reduce and reverse the umbrella concept of Climate Change. Attendees will engage with student efforts to communicate climate change and participate in networking and group conversations that target local priorities and opportunities.

This effort is being organized as a St Louis regional participation of a Talanoa, or traditional Pacific Islander cultural norm of storytelling. As an outcome of the Paris Agreement on Climate Change, the Fijian President issued a challenge to the planet to use the concept of a Talanoa to intentionally focus on talking about climate change and its global concepts that have local impacts.
