All ISSP credentials issued after the program launched on November 15th, 2016 expire two years minus one day after the date they were earned (note that credentials earned within the Beta process were given a special one-year extension). You can begin the renewal process as soon as you are within the final year your credential is valid.
All credential holders who are up for renewal before January 31st, 2019 have been issued an extension until that date. Please check the expiration date on your Credential Document to determine whether your credential is expiring soon. You can also send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org if you can't find this information.
How to Renew Your ISSP Credential
- Pay the renewal fee using this page. The renewal fee for the ISSP-SA credential is $75 for ISSP members* and $150 for non-members. The renewal fee for the ISSP-CSP is $100 for members* and $200 for non-members. You only need to renew the highest level of credential earned.
- Submit a completed CEU Tracking Sheet. Once your renewal fee has been paid, you'll be sent an email with instructions on how to submit your completed CEU Tracking Sheet in our Learning Center (the same system you used to download your Credential Document).
The steps above must be completed by the date your credential expires or a late fee applies as described in the Guidebook, so get started with your renewal today!
Once you've submitted the fee and completed tracking sheet, you'll receive another email confirming your renewal status within approximately two weeks. If your credential has been successfully renewed, you'll be given a link to download an updated version of your Credential Document.
Click the "Renew Now" button to continue with your credential renewal.
* IMPORTANT: You must be logged into the ISSP website in order to receive the member discount on ISSP credential renewals. You'll see this discount appear on the next page.
