We are in a horse race with catastrophe: global crises extend from the climate emergency to 65 million migrants on the move with nowhere to go. And we have all of the technologies we need to begin crafting solutions to the world’s most challenging problems. Time is short, but the good news is rising: we are witnessing the end of fossil fuels and the triumph of the sun, which can solve the climate crisis at a profit. Regenerative agriculture can feed the world. Corporations are committing to more sustainable practices and finding them to be more profitable. What’s YOUR role? In this program, global sustainability expert Hunter Lovins will elicit ideas and discussion about ways to craft a life of service, greater happiness and meaning by building a world that works for all of humanity.

L. Hunter Lovins is President of Natural Capitalism Solutions (NCS), a Colorado non-profit educating global leadership in the business case for a Regenerative Economy. NCS helps companies, communities and countries implement more sustainable practices profitably.

Trained as a sociologist and lawyer (JD), Lovins is a professor of sustainable business management at Bard College, the Chief Insurgent of the Madrone Project and is a founding partner of Principium, an impact investing firm. She has consulted for leading multinationals and NGOs, from International Finance Corporation, Unilever, Walmart, the United Nations and Royal Dutch Shell to sustainability champions such as Interface, Patagonia and Clif Bar. She has advised heads of state, Pentagon leaders, the U.S. Congress and over 30 national governments across the globe. In November 2014, Lovins was elected into the ISSP Hall of Fame.
