Beyond Sustainability: An Interactive Workshop for Sustainability Professionals from All Sectors. Grand Lake, Colorado, August 27-31, 2017
For the second year in a row, ISSP and the ISSP Colorado Chapter are collaborating with Shadowcliff to present a four-day, residential workshop specially created to address the needs and aspirations of sustainability professionals.
If your day to day work involves a focus on sustainability, from creating and/or guiding entire sustainability management systems to leading the charge with specific tasks, this workshop is right for you. Come and experience new tools to elevate your work, the power of sharing a common experience with colleagues, an experienced and engaging faculty, and the reinvigorating connection to the very heart of why you do the work you do.
Program and Accommodations: It’s an all-inclusive event!
Programming will include learning and practice surrounding mindfulness in and at work, authentic leadership skills, exploration and discussion of the Body of Knowledge foundational to the ISSP Professional Credentials, creative thinking and discussion about sustainability issues that can only come from connection through hiking and other field-based adventures, hands on work understanding the circular economy, and, of course, networking. All registrants will receive a survey prior to arriving so that we can be sure your experience will be as meaningful as possible. Set in Grand Lake on the western side of Rocky Mountain National Park, the beauty and grandeur of the area will inspire you while informing your experience.
