Strategic Partnerships

As highlighted by the UN SDGs (Goal #17), building partnerships to achieve goals is critical to successfully driving sustainability. ISSP regularly joins with strategic partners to extend our reach and impact; by doing so, we are not only speeding up the adaptation of our programming and services, but avoid duplicative efforts.

USGBC - ISSP began working with the Green Business Certification Institute (GBCI) in 2017, partnering to bring our credentials to the next level by leveraging our respective networks to raise awareness and use of sustainability best practices; and providing access to education and training to improve the skills of sustainability professionals.

ACCO - In preparation for the Global Congress, ISSP has formed a partnership with the Association of Climate Change Officers (ACCO), to extend the reach of both organizations. Together we are working to galvanize our members and a broader group of climate change and sustainability professionals to become more productive in advancing the stature, seniority, capacity and earning potential of their occupations.

In addition, we partner with the following organizations in a variety of ways—providing reciprocal discounts for members of our respective organizations. Members of ISSP’s Strategic Partners receive discounts on our credentialing and professional development programs.
