ISSP offers two levels of credentials for sustainability professionals:


Testing for the ISSP Sustainability Associate (ISSP-SA) exam is currently open. Candidates interested earning the ISSP-SA credential can register for the exam through April 8th, 2017, and exams can be scheduled through April 22nd, 2017.


ISSP will begin accepting applications for the ISSP Certified Sustainability Professional (ISSP-CSP) credential exam starting April 3rd, 2017. Candidates can download the application now - which will need to be accompanied by three Professional Reference Forms - in order to begin gathering the required materials. ISSP-CSP Applications submitted before April 3rd will not be considered.

ISSP offers two levels of certification, a Sustainability Associate (ISSP-SA) level for those new to the field and a Certified Sustainability Professional (ISSP-CSP) level for those who have been working in the field for a while.


Exam Fees

The ISSP-SA costs $175 for members, $250 for partners, and $350 for nonmembers; the ISSP-CSP costs $250 for members, $350 for partners, and $450 for nonmembers.


About the Exam

The ISSP Certification exams are proctored, closed-book, multiple-choice tests that can be taken at a local testing center or online.
An external webcam is required for online testing.
