Corvallis, Ore.: International Society of Sustainability Professionals (ISSP) welcomes Trisha Bauman, M.S., as ISSP Governing Board President.
CEO & Founder of TJBauman LLC, a sustainability strategy and communications firm in New York City, Bauman has served on the ISSP Governing Board since 2019, and most recently as Vice President during the past two years. In her role on the ISSP Governing Board, she brings cross-sector sustainability leadership, extensive international experience, and expertise in emerging market opportunities for regenerative development and social innovation.
“I am delighted to be serving as ISSP Governing Board President,” said Bauman. “I’m grateful to my colleague Denise DeLuca, with whom I so enjoyed collaborating during her tenure as President this past year. It has been a great pleasure to work closely with my fellow Board colleagues and our executive staff on many of our landmark ISSP initiatives—from the 2019 Global Congress to our Sustainability Hall of Fame video series, from strengthening our offerings for the SEA and SEP credentialing exams to our new, upcoming ISSP professional development platform and community of practice. All these offerings are designed to advance professional resources, collaboration, and networking opportunities that strengthen the impact of our network in this decisive decade.”
Bauman will serve with ISSP Governing Board Officers representing an international community of sustainability professionals working across sectors, including officers Nitesh Dullabh as Vice President, Chhavi Maggu, SEP, as Treasurer, and Olusheun Olaoshebikan as Secretary. Denise DeLuca, PE, SEA, Bangaly Kourouma, M.S., and Fabian Sack, SEP, FEIANZ, FHEA, PhD, continue in their roles as members of the ISSP Governing Board.
