Corvallis, Ore.: International Society of Sustainability Professionals (ISSP) welcomes Chhavi Maggu, SEP, Business Strategy Manager with Accenture’s Sustainability Strategy practice, to its Governing Board.

As Business Strategy Manager with Accenture’s Sustainability Strategy practice based in London, United Kingdom, Chhavi works across energy transition and sustainability topics, primarily with clients in the energy, utilities, and natural resources sectors globally. She has a deep interest in future energy and mobility systems, including green hydrogen, smart city initiatives, and opportunities in the green economy.


Chhavi graduated from University College London with first class honours to earn a Master’s of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering. Her masters work included a year at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where she conducted research on carbon dioxide capture materials. She is a Sustainability Excellence Professional (SEP) credential-holder as well as certified in Analytics-Powered Strategy from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and Business Strategy from INSEAD. Chhavi’s passion for environmental sustainability led her to align her professional career with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, including work with innovation labs, such as UNLEASH and +Acumen's programme on designing for sustainability and social impact.
