ABOUT THE EVENT


The Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) helps to persuade companies throughout the world to measure, manage, disclose, and ultimately reduce their greenhouse gas emissions.


In this interactive session, attendees will walk through the importance of CDP reporting for organizations. We will take a look at the types of disclosures and rating agencies. Attendees will be introduced to the CDP questionnaire and scoring methodology.



FORMAT


Attendees are encouraged to turn their cameras on and be ready to engage in breakout rooms. Working sessions are not recorded. Learn more.

  • Gain an overall understanding of the Carbon Disclosure Project
  • Understand the key components of CDP reporting
  • Look at data gathering methodologies
  • Evaluate the risks and opportunities from climate change and water security
  • Evaluate the steps for building an efficient CDP reporting team 



Meet your Presenters

Lovelyn Okoye (MIAEng, MSPIN) is an impact-driven sustainability professional from Nigeria.


She is a chemical and mechanical engineering graduate with 10 years of post-graduate experience in Environmental Sustainability, Emissions Management, Stakeholder Management, Sustainable

Development Goals Advocacy, and Community Development.


Sustainability practice for Lovelyn started in 2012 with passionate volunteering initiatives targeted at indigent and local community development, as well as skill set building in Anambra, Nigeria. In those programs, she has earned herself national awards such as Most Outstanding MDGS Advocate by NYSC in 2012, an Outstanding Volunteering award in Nigeria by Voluntary Service Overseas, and a Community Development award in 2022 by Dangote Cement Plc Ibese indigenous community, amongst others.


In her present organization, Lovelyn has contributed to the achievement of environmental stewardship, circular economy, emissions accounting and management, environmental capacity building, and social impact mitigation through stakeholders engagement. Her message to all is “We all have one latent debt to pay, which is to leave the world better than we met it, so do not die owing”.

CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS


ISSP credential holders will earn 0.5 CEUs for attending this webinar.
